Context

Insplanet brought me in during a period of transition. Their architect and lead developer had recently left, and they needed someone to keep development moving and make sure the knowledge didn't leave with them. My work focused on documentation, deployment reliability and simplifying the build and delivery process.

Architecture & knowledge

Wrote down the architecture before the knowledge was lost
Updated and clarified the existing documentation

Build & deployment

Implemented zero-downtime deployment
Simplified the CI pipeline using Azure DevOps build pipelines
Worked on the deployment setup in Octopus Deploy

Development

Ongoing development across a mixed stack: ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core, C#, jQuery, React and TypeScript
