I joined the team working on Cale Web Office 2, specifically the TrueUp subsystem — a set of financial rules governing compensation between the City of Chicago and Chicago Parking Meters. The agreement between the two parties spans 80 years, which meant the system needed to handle not only complex business rules but also future data volumes on a massive scale.
